Steps to Register and Enable
Wi-Fi Protect in the Mobile App

iOS/iPadOS

  1. From the launch screen, press Begin Registration
  2. Under the Registration code screen
      1. Device will register automatically if you have used a link received via SMS or Email

    OR

    1. Please scan the QR code in the email received.
  3. Go back to the Mobile App to continue with Wi-Fi Protect setup
    1. Press Enable Wi-Fi Protect and select Allow.
    2. This will bring you to phone VPN settings.
      • If you are asked for a passcode, enter the device screen unlock code.
        (This step will only appear if this feature was activated by your organization)
    3. Return back to the SIA app and select the Settings tab on the bottom right — you will see Wi-Fi Protect is enabled.

Android

  1. From the launch screen, press Begin Registration and Accept & Continue the Privacy Policy
  2. Under the Registration code screen
    1. Device will register automatically if you have used a link received via SMS or Email
    2. You need to scan the QR code in the received email.
  3. You are almost there! Tap Next
    1. Activate device admin app to allow the app to set you up
    2. Only if KNOX device – Under KLMS Agent, accept the terms and conditions and press CONFIRM.
      This will automatically configure the APN settings on your KNOX device.
      From here it only applies if Wi-Fi Protect feature was activated by your organization.
  4. Location services is needed for Wi-Fi Protect trusted networks. Tap Next
    1. Tap Let’s Continue
    2. Choose “Allow while using the app”
  5. Tap Next. Under Wi-Fi Protect
    1. Tap “Grant VPN Access”
    2. Under Connection request tap OK to grant the app VPN Access
